It was a setup, as many relationships are. Fallon was having a Halloween party and her friends wanted to bring someone special. From the start knew what this was. It was pretty clear to Ben as well. As Fallon told me the story during her engagement session in Chagrin Falls, I could immediately relate. As many of you know, Brooke and I were secretly setup by some close friends. Where we didn’t have any insight into the situation, Fallon and Ben did. Maybe that was for the best.

Just like Brooke and I, Fallon and Ben had their first meeting at the party. More dates soon followed. Love arrived quickly, and as they say, here we are today. We continued to talk about their history, relationship and loves as we walked around downtown Chagrin Falls, occasionally stopping for some photos. Of course an engagement session in Chagrin Falls would not be complete without a stop at Jeni’s Ice Cream.

I really feel for those who have never had Jeni’s Ice Cream. Having never had Jeni’s is like having never had a cold coca-cola from a glass bottle or warm apple pie. It’s really that good. We stood at the counter and debated what to get. The ice cream menu reads like some strange science experiment – juniper with lemon curd, cherry lambic, roasted strawberry and buttermilk. It really is a dizzying list. Fallon and Ben tried a few selection while I resisted. She settled on the juniper and lemon curd, remarking that anything lemon is love.

Sometimes an engagement session can take a little while to really start. Both Fallon and Ben were naturals though. They were so comfortable with each other.

Just as we were about finished, I noticed the low sunlight passing through the trees. It was definitely worth stopping for another few photos. Both Fallon and Ben look glorious in the evening sun. I can’t wait for their wedding in July. They are both so wonderful and it will be great to work with them again. That’s all for today. Definitely stop back soon as we have much more coming.
