Two things are true about weather – people talk about, and it will always disrupt the best plans. If you want to BBQ, then it’s going to rain. Just hung up your winter coat (looking at you Heidi)? Then it’ll snow. Planning at skiing trip? Heat wave! This has been especially true in Cleveland lately. We have had non-stop cold and rainy weather. The first time we scheduled Katie & Rob’s engagement session, it turned out to be windy and wet. There was even a little canine mishap, but she’s all better now.
After a last-minute and welcome reschedule, our weather wish came true. For our second attempt, the sun was pouring over Cleveland and it could not have been more beautiful. As you can see below, the trees are blooming like crazy due the heavy rain. There is nothing more beautiful than a magnolia loaded with blooms in the spring.
The sunny day and great locations made Katie and Rob more radiant than ever. We simply cannot wait for their early summer wedding. They have picked a beautiful, quaint restaurant for their Cleveland wedding. The wedding is certain to be amazing and full of close friends and family. Have a look below to see just a few favorites from this (recently) rare weather day!
When Katie gives Rob the eyes, you could just melt. Speaking of which, the snow has finally melted and the spring flowers are out on the trees.
For Katie and Rob’s engagement session, we discussed using a more urban location. So we simply did a walking tour of Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood.
The wind picked up out on Cleveland’s Whiskey Island, which made for an interesting hair day. The wind also made for some great dynamic photos!
To end the day together, we stopped my favorite location – the Cleveland Museum of Art. At this time of year, the outside gardens are exploding with flowers and life!
I believe that covers it for now. Just as a quick post-script – if you need a Tae Kwon Do instructor, Rob’s you man. I hear he can kill a man with just one look.
