Kate & Brian – Rocky River Engagement categories: engagement

There are certain things that make me happy to be a Cleveland wedding photographer. The most notable is the scenery. Cleveland has a huge abundance of shooting locations. The Rocky River Reservation, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, downtown Cleveland, and any number of suburb locations are all great places to shoot.

We hit a few of these places for Kate and Brian’s engagement photo session, most notably, Rocky River Reservation, downtown Cleveland, and a small shopping area in Rocky River.

My favorite is definitely the kiss on top of the Detroit-Superior Bridge in downtown Cleveland. The tones in the photo are so interesting. The color is a little desaturated and the lighting is really even. Not sure why I like it, but I do.

Maternity portraits – Jessica & Jevon categories: portraits

I met Jessica and Jevon through work completely separate from my wedding photography. At the time, they were not even dating. Before you knew it, they went from dating, to married to expecting.

At that point, they both wanted to capture some great photos of their little family before it grew one person larger. Since then, I am happy to report they have a healthy baby girl.

For their maternity portraits, we started off in Rocky River, stopped by my studio, and then went to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland. Some of the best photos are clearly from the park.

Within the park, we found a great little spot on the valley wall overlooking the river. The sun was setting and it really made for some stunning photos. I was really pleased with how these non-traditional maternity portraits turned out. Hope you enjoy.

Nicole & Rich – engagement categories: engagement

We just wrapped up an engagement photography session with Nicole and Rich. What great people! Rich is absolutely hysterical! Even better, there wedding reception will by Halloween themed. The engagement photos were shot in Rocky River reservation, Olmsted Falls, and Crocker Park mall in Westlake, Ohio.
